Join us for an afternoon of activities with Sophie David and unlock the joy of reading and writing with Read, Write, Play, a hands-on guide featuring 100 fun and engaging activities that support children aged 3- on their phonics journey.
Whether you're supporting school lessons or starting at home, this book provides all the guidance you need - with no prior knowledge of phonics required. It is the perfect resource for parents, carers and educators who want to transform phonics into a playful, accessible adventure.
Children learn best through play, and every activity in this book is designed to be fun and quick to set up, using common household items like paper cups and craft sticks. These multi-sensory and adaptable activities cater to all learning styles, making phonics enjoyable and rewarding for every child.
Sophie David has over ten years' experience in Primary Education and specialises in Early Years Foundation Stage. She is founder of Little Happy Learners, an online platform sharing fun, innovative and creative ways to play and learn at home, which has nearly one million followers on Instagram. As an EYFS teacher, and a proud mother of three, Sophie wants to change the way our children learn. Research has shown that children learn best through play, so she wants to develop their confidence and desire to learn by showing families and carers activities they can do together.
Please note: Book and ticket option includes a copy of Read, Write, Play (RRP. £22) available for collection on the day.
