About this event

This Teaching session replaces our normal November meeting. I am delighted to welcome Rev Prof Loveday Alexander, Canon Theologian at Chester and Chichester. She trained as a classist and has retained an interest in exploring the boundaries and interconnections between the New Testament and its Greco-Roman matrix. At the end of November, we enter Year C of lectionary readings, which centre on the Gospel of Luke. Prof Alexander will open up the Gospel to us to facilitate our preaching in the coming year, before then preaching at the Service of Licencing and Celebration of Reader ministry in the afternoon.

Since numbers will be limited, we will run a waiting list if necessary. If things change after booking and you cannot come, please let us know.

For the confidence and security of other attendees, please only attend if you have had a negative Lateral Flow Test in the preceding 24 hours

Tea and coffee will be served from 10.15, with the meeting starting at 10.45.

Lunch is provided, but must be booked separately Book Lunch here
