Readers’ Study Day 2025

Join together with other licensed and PtO Readers from the Diocese of Portsmouth to meet with, and hear from, Rev Neil Smart, Rev Andrew Axon and Rev Matt Grove, the team assembled to lead us through the diocesan strategy of becoming a ‘rejuvenating community of Jesus-centred, kingdom-seeking disciples’.

Enjoy networking, a shared lunch and Q&A with Rev Matt Grove, who starts as Lay Ministry Discipleship Officer and Warden of Readers on September 1st.

When booking, please use the additional questions to indicate any dietary requirements. The Study Day is free. There is very limited parking at St Luke’s Church. Please use the nearby NCP parking areas, or public transport. St Luke’s Church is a 5-minute walk from Portsmouth & Southsea train station. There is a bus stop 1 minute’s walk away on Isambard Brunel Road.
