Description

An opportunity to visit the Lightbox in Woking to explore featured work from The Ingram Collection. This collection includes work by the major artists of the 20th century as well as emerging artists of the 21st century, including paintings, sculptures and installations. We will be able to explore the human condition - faith and belief, creativity and power, potential and fragility. Details to be notified nearer the time.

This session is free but limited to 12 places.

About the leaders:

Canon Dr Julie Gittoes is a Residentiary Canon (Education) at Guildford Cathedral. She teaches and writes on Christian theology, particularly the nature of the church, marriage and the work of Evelyn Underhill; and she is researching a project on singleness and loneliness. Her other interests include art, politics and culture.

Canon Dr Steve Summers is the Principal of the Diocesan Local Ministry Programme. His own research is in the field of a theology of friendship.
