A tough situation is more than demanding – it’s become so it’s affecting the person and their performance.  They become apprehensive, blinkered, indecisive…. Inevitably they begin to work inefficiently, and they make mistakes.  Thankfully, tough situation are rare, but it might be ages before a person’s resilience and well-being recover.

Here is a 90-minute workshop with some really practical help on succeeding in Tough situations.

Our speakers:

Sarah Oliver, Alexander Technique teacher

Peter Goodge, Coaching psychologist

Sarah Oliver: Sarah, an accredited AT Teacher, works with a variety of personal clients, and organisations, e.g. the AT department at the Royal College of Music. After gaining a BA (Hons) in HRM and Applied Psychology, Sarah has worked in HR, with Senior HR roles in Watford Football Club and Topgolf.

Peter Goodge: Executive coaching takes the lion share of Peter’s time, although he also provides workshops and programmes. Right now Peter is working with police, engineering and local government organisations. He is one of the few Registered Coaching Psychologists in the UK, a Chartered Psychologist, and Associate Fellow of the BPS.

Thames Valley Branch is one of the largest CIPD branches in the country with over 4,300 members across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and North Hampshire.
