On Thursday, 30 June 2022, we'll be discussing Deadlock, the sixth of the thirteen books in Pilgrimage. Dr. Adam Guest of the University of Oxford will be our special guest.
Dr Adam Guy is a Departmental Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Lecturer in the English Faculty at the University of Oxford.
His first book was The nouveau roman and Writing in Britain After Modernism (OUP, 2019). He is one of the general editors of the Oxford Edition of the Works of Dorothy Richardson; he is also a member of the editorial board of Pilgrimages: The Journal of Dorothy Richardson Studies. He has published on Richardson in publications including Modernism/modernity, Modernist Cultures, Literature Compass, Women: A Cultural Review, and Pilgrimages. In 2017 he ran an exhibition on Richardson in the Abingdon, the town of her birth.
