Description

Join us for the launch of Reading Well for Young People in Plymouth.

Reading Well for Young People provides self-help reading for 13 to18 year olds, covering a range of common mental health issues including anxiety, depression, self-harm and eating disorders. The books are all expert endorsed and available free to borrow from libraries.

Speakers at the event will include:

Olivia Craig, CEO Plymouth and District Mind. Bullying and the effect on mental health.

Debbie Roche, local author of “A Son’s Battle, A Mother’s War”. Experiences of supporting a loved one living with anorexia.

Rachel Cruise, Operations Director of the Zone. Healthy relationships in young people; exploring consent, controlling behaviours, self-confidence and self-esteem.
