READY FOR D’ROAD 2025!
It’s the return of your favourite Carnival warm-up party and this year we’re turning up the heat! A brand new venue, extended time, and for the first time ever… a LIVE DJ spinning vibes all afternoon.
As with all Empowered Movement events, everyBODY’s welcome! Regardless of age, race, shape, size, or ability — we want you to join us!
New this year:
From 12:00 to 1:30pm, we’re running a Kids Carnival Dance Class for ages 4–16!
The session will be split into two fun groups:
- Mini Masqueraders
- Mighty Masqueraders
Spaces are limited and it’s FREE for all children masqueraders registered with Caribbean Sessions Mas for NHC 2025. £3 for those not registered.
If you want your child to join, please register your interest early!
Then at 2pm, the vibes shift to the adults with Ready For D’Road (16+) — the ultimate Carnival prep session.
Expect a full 4-hour Carnival warm-up packed with:
💃🏽 Soca Dance Fitness w/ Ebony – build your Carnival stamina
🎭 Flag’ography + Choreo w/ Tia – master your steps & rep your flag so you can buss a move on d’road
🎯 Games & Giveaways – win essential on-the-road goodies (trust us, you’ll want these!)
🤝 Open Social Jam – meet new people, dance freely & hold a vibe
🎧 Live DJ set by Jazmin Natanya – nonstop riddims throughout the event! Did someone say PULLLL UPPPP?!?!
And guess what? You don’t even have to be going to Carnival to come!
