Ready Steady Sew!
Tue, 17 Jan 2017, 19:00 – Tue, 28 Mar 2017, 21:00 GMT
Learn how to get the best from your machine and gain all the skills you need to be a confident home sewer. You’ll make basic projects such as a tote bag or simple piece of clothing. The class covers seaming, zips, buttons and buttonholes and following a pattern. Jacqui will teach you how to troubleshoot your sewing. Perfect for beginners or those wanting to gain confidence. Own sewing machine required. After first few lessons you’ll need to bring your own materials.
This is a 10 week course. Half term is 13 to 18 February.
Jacqui Harding loves to knit, crochet, sew and design. She has had knitting/crochet patterns published in The Knitter, Knit Now and Simply Knitting magazines. As mum to 3 gorgeous boys she started Happymaking designs so she can balance her creative and family lives. In addition to knit design, she design and sews handmade bags and aprons, both as commissions and for local craft fairs.
