Event Details

You are invited to attend our FREE Ready, Willing and Able conference. A day focusing on the impact of substance misuse on Young People across Oxfordshire

Attending will help you work with and safeguard Young People in Oxfordshire who are impacted by and misuse substances.

The conferance will be a chance for professionals across the County to see in-depth how the team work.

We are running this event twice so please ensure you book on your prefered day in Banbury or Oxford.

The day will consist of 3 workshops: The workshops will be interactive and will show the detailed models of treatment we use to work with Young People

  1. Working with Young People affected by familial substance misuse

  2. Working with Young People who are focal users

  3. Drug exploitation and its related harms

Alongside the Workshops there will be 2 Keynote speeches discussing the current situation and trends in Young People's substance misuse across Oxfordshire

Front line staff will be on hand throughout the day giving first hand experiences of working with these vulnerable young people and explaining their models of care.

These events are a great opportunity to meet Aquarius and Richmond Fellowship colleagues.

Certificates for attendance will be provided

We look forward to seeing you

At Aquarius we strive to help people overcome the harms caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling.

We work closely with individuals, families and friends to lessen the impact caused by the behaviour of a loved one. Overcoming an addiction can be a difficult process but you can be sure that our staff will be dedicated to giving you and your family the attention and support that you need. We will be there to help you with each step of your journey along the way to recovery and to help you look forward to the future with the confidence that change is possible.
