Real Consent & GDPR Readiness
Event Information
Description
During the last 12 months, the Personal Data & Trust Network’s ‘consent’ working group, run by Mark Lizar and Richard Beaumont, has explored if ‘Real Consent' is possible and collaborated with a variety of experts and organisations in order to develop a number of concepts.
As part of this work, the group has delivered a series of events, in which businesses have been introduced to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), considered how future plans for Brexit might affect them, and shared opportunitites and challenges of innovating with personal data and consumer tust.
In this final event, the group will look at outcomes of the innovations during the last year and explore what is next to ignite personal data and trust in the UK.
In preparation for the GDPR coming into effect, don’t miss this exciting opportunity to understand what Real Consent looks like in action. Find out how consent and Personal Data Receipts are being rolled out to industry and explore how a variety of businesses are using Real Consent. Participants will also be able to share ideas about where and how consent can fit within their own business, products and services.
The day will then finish with a showcase of consent thought leadership and technology innovation.
