Real Life / Real Time - True Heart Theatre
Event Information
Description
True Heart Theatre on the theme “Real Life / Real Time”
Come and enjoy the Real Life in Real Time.
“Real Life / Real Time” is a large video screen installation in a public space. It shows, in real time, the complete breeding cycle of a Black Stork family in Latvia. It explores the relationship between human beings and nature, reminding us and resetting Nature as a focal point that connects all life on Earth. Today, as we know, it is becoming evermore urgent that we understand, respect and respond to the natural laws and rhythms of our planet. This project aims to create a direct human connection to the simplicity, power and rhythms of nature, as we become increasingly disconnected from our place and role on this planet. Perhaps too, it is an expression of our human instinct to seek a connection with nature.
The playback theatre performance brings you back to your real life again. This event will engage people to further reflect on their own lives through the installation and find the intrinsically fundamental link between themselves and the natural world. The improvisational performance by True Heart Theatre, co-created with the audience, will engage us to share our real life stories about this experience. These stories are then immediately re-enacted on stage in “real time.”
