Event description

Description

Real Talk is coming to Glasgow! After running 5 wonderfully successful events in Edinburgh we are thrilled to be making our west.

Join us for an evening of storytelling centred around mental health. You will hear real stories crafted by real people and have an opportunity to be a part of an informal Q&A with the speakers after. We aim to cultivate connection and compassion through conversation about mental ill health. Together we can reduce stigma and embrace the complexity of being human.

Check out the video from our very first event here: https://youtu.be/pRXT09TyQ2w

Audience feedback includes: "Mental health has always been close to my heart having personal experieces with it myself. It was a beautiful reminder of how human we all are, even complete strangers."

"Unexpectedly enlightening. I was in awe at how brave people were in sharing their stories and I was surprised that everyone led everyday lives."

All speakers are empowered with two storycrafting workshops beforehand, free of charge. If you have a story waiting to be told and are interested in being a speaker at this event please get in touch at hello@realtalkproject.org.
