Description

Chief Medical Officer Conference: Realistic Medicine: Making it Personal

The Chief Medical Officer for Scotland, Dr Catherine Calderwood, is hosting her annual Realistic Medicine conference. The conference will provide an opportunity for a range of professionals to come together and share their Realistic Medicine experiences and learning. There will be a number of inspirational speakers and workshop hosts to make the day educational and interactive.

Abstract Submission for Posters

Abstract submission for the conference is now also open. Successful applicants will be invited to present a poster of their work at the conference. We would encourage anyone who is interested to share their work as we are very keen to promote examples of Realistic Medicine approaches across health or social care in Scotland. Last year’s poster winner was also showcased in the Chief Medical Officer’s most recent Annual Report.

Abstracts should be no more than 200 words in length (excluding title and author details) and should be submitted to realisticmedicine@gov.scot by 9th September 2019. Please state 'Conference 2019 Poster' as the subject of the email. The Abstract Review Committee will review all submissions and inform authors of their decision shortly after the closing date.
