Held in central Shrewsbury, Shropgeek's Rebellion is a low key evening meet-up that has a long track record of celebrating the web / tech / media and adjoining industries.

Our next event on May 3rd, curated by Siftware, is shaping up to be a cracker with some A-list speakers covering subjects related loosly to running, cycling and how technology can facilitate getting more people outdoors.

So why not come along and join us for an evening of inspiring talks. Get to chat with like-minded people and spark your creativity and maybe re-kindle your love of getting outdoors. You even have the option to challenge yourself the next day by completing in a off-road half marathon (or more!) around one of Shropshire's most famous landmarks (see below).

Running

The day after the evening meetup there is a Star Wars themed trail run entitled 'May the 4th be with you' (do you see what they did there?) on one of Shropshire's most iconic hills, The Long Mynd.

The race is being professionally organised by a local endurance event company and some of us (including at least one of the speakers) will be entering the race. If you're interested there is further information here or you can go direct to the event organiser's site to book (spaces are limited so don't delay).
