About this event

Charity & Causes • Human Rights

Join Fossil Free London for a walking tour exploring the key moments in the history of British dissent, as well as discovering contemporay examples where the right to protest has been challenged.

AND you'll also leave equipped with the latest information on you key protest rights.

Given the increasingly hostile environment that we find ourselves in, not only in the UK, but also in many other supposed "democratic" nations around the world, we know that education is key to building our toolkit of resistance.

UK schools do not in general teach the moments when we as a people have come together and fought against all odds to win many of the rights we take for granted today.

This tour is suitable for children aged 12 or above, accompanied by an adult, at parental discretion - but it will cover themes such as police brutality.
