Reboot: Embodying Space
Event Information
About this Event
This three-week hands-on course will introduce participants to the pedagogy of Embodied Space.
Through exercises and provocations, we will explore the relationship between our bodies and the space we inhabit. We will look at and play with the most fundamental relationship between a human being and its surroundings. This relationship forms the foundation of any creative process.
Although offered online on Zoom, there is nothing two dimensional about this course and participants will work hands-on under Aurelian’s guidance and be provoked with exercises to open their eyes and minds and reconnect to the space they inhabit in a refreshed way.
No previous experience is required, and the sessions are open to any creator in performing arts, visual arts or any field of design (i.e. Architecture).
This course will require some basic tools and materials - see the list here: https://www.clodensemble.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Embodying-Space-Clod-%E2%80%93-Participants-Info.pdf

Bursary spaces
Reboot supports artists by providing a high quality programme of professional development. Without subsidy, this course would cost £50 per person to attend. We recognise that even subsidised costs can be a barrier to participate. If you would like to book a free place on the course, please get in touch with us directly on admin@clodensemble.com by Monday 8th February so we can arrange this for you. We can also provide an additional bursary to contribute to the purchase of materials required for this course. We have additional budget available to support other access needs - please contact us to discuss this.
