Description
We're kicking off 2019 with a personal brand update - freshening up CV's, LinkedIn profiles, presentation skills and getting a shiny new headshot.
Our mission at DevelopHer is to support you in your career, by improving your confidence and equipping you to progress to your dream job in Tech. This January we're offering the opportunity to work with an incredible team of business leaders and practitioners who have been selected by DevelopHer to reboot your personal brand - all delivered within two hours and hosted within the offices of SYZYGY.
So what is the 2019 reboot all about? You'll participate in 4 x 30 minute speed coaching sessions to work on your CV, LinkedIn, professional profile pic and your personal presentation skills - delivered by a team of industry leading experts, who are offering their services to support the DevelopHer community.
Here's what you'll be doing:
1. Developing your first impressions.
The Coach and Communications team from GSB Comms will teach you how to introduce yourself in a business setting, use positive body language skills, refine your elevator pitch and improve your networking skills.
2. Taking a new profile picture.
Business Photographer Sue Lacey is on hand to shoot a new headshot picture for use with your CV, LinkedIn, Business cards, social channels, press or speaking engagements. These will be cropped, edited and available after the event.
3. Tightening up your professional bio.
Luxury Branding Copywriter Maarit Lilley will help you with the summary paragraph that describes who you are and what you are all about to prospective employers and clients. This can then be used for your CV or LinkedIn Profile.
4. Developing your LinkedIn profile.
