Scotland’s Intergenerational Ministry Conference

Back for our third year, the United Reformed Church Synod of Scotland and the Presbytery of Glasgow Church of Scotland are proud to present RechargePLUS—a one-day gathering for volunteers and paid workers in ministry across all denominations.

This is more than just a training event. RechargePLUS is a space to be refreshed, equipped, and inspired in your calling — whether you minister to toddlers, teens, parents, adults, or elders.

Featuring Guest Speaker: Bob Hartman

Renowned Christian author and professional storyteller Bob Hartman will open the day with a short reflection and lead two engaging workshops focused on imaginative, joy-filled approaches to the Bible:

  • Retelling the Bible with Bob Hartman

Bob will also be speaking at Priesthill URC on Sunday, 7th September at 11am. All are welcome.

Choose from 8 workshops, designed to support and stretch your ministry practice:

  • Storytelling with Bob Hartman – Discover the power of storytelling in ministry and learn how to bring Bible stories to life.
  • Retelling the Bible with Bob Hartman – Explore creative ways to reimagine and retell Bible verses in fresh, engaging ways.
  • DramaKirk! –Discover practical ways to use drama in church to communicate stories and messages powerfully.
  • Digital Ministry – Learn about an interactive youth game and explore digital tools for engaging the next generation
  • Transformative Conversations - With The Ugly Duckling Company, learn how to create space for faith-filled, meaningful dialogue

Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please let us know by Monday, 4th September if you have any dietary requirements.

The building is fully accessible via lift. All rooms in use can be reached via the main corridor lift. Clear signage will be provided. Please contact us if you have specific access needs.
