Course overview:

This course is free and targeted at workers and volunteers working in Bingham and surrounding areas as part of work across Nottinghamshire to improve community safety.

This session will help you understand the nature of domestic abuse and the barriers that prevent those living in rural areas, from seeking help.

Learn about the specialist support available and how to signpost or refer someone onto these. These sessions are part of our responding to domestic abuse in rural areas project.

During the session, specific reference is made to different types of domestic abuse, so we recommend attending in a quiet and confidential space. Support is available if you are impacted by any content of the session.
