Are you a researcher in the Faculty of Brain Sciences who works with community members to help deliver your research? Do you want to provide better recognition for their contributions?
We invite you to attend a workshop on 26th November 2025 from 2-4pm to:
- Learn about the UCL Citizen Science Academy and the Office of Open Science & Scholarship
- Map ways in which FBS researchers involve community stakeholders in research
- Discuss suitable incentives and recognition for community stakeholder contributions, to help sustain and expand these collaborations.
This workshop is part of the Research Culture-funded “FBS Community Connectedness Project” to develop subject-specific micro-credentials (see here for definition) that will recognise specific skills that community member 'citizen scientists' acquire, and contributions they make, whilst working on our research projects.
It is run in collaboration with the UCL Centre for Equality Research in Brain Sciences, UCL Office for Open Science & Scholarship and the UCL Citizen Science Academy.
