Event description

Description

In partnership with the Medical Women’s Federation, the Academy of Medical Educators is delighted to offer this free opportunity for development.

The morning Recognising Teaching Excellence workshop will give attendees a thorough understanding of the Professional Standards for Medical Educators and enable them to start mapping their skills and achievements against them. It will also support anyone who is about to undergo accreditation as an educational or clinical supervisor or who is responsible for the clinical education of undergraduate medical, dental and veterinary students.

The afternoon writing workshop is aimed both at those looking to apply for membership of the Academy and existing AoME Members who are considering applying for Fellowship.

The day is specifically intended for women at all stages of their careers. If required, childcare facilities are available throughout the day, and you will have the opportunity to share experiences with peers, during the sessions and informally over lunch and coffee.

Attendance is free of charge (including lunch and refreshments)
