Event Outline:
Tom Crisp, the Course Leader for the new MA Sustainable Fashion course at Falmouth University, welcomes you to panel discussion session where we'll explore the importance of reconnecting fashion to nature as part of our pursuit of sustainability in the fashion sector, as individuals, and as global citizens.
Specifically, Tom and the panelists will explore questions like:
- Why do we need to reconnect with nature?
- What will support the fashion industry to reconnect with nature?
- How can the fashion industry get involved with reconnecting with nature?
- Who should the fashion industry connect with to reconnect with nature?
- When do we need to see change?
Tom will be joined by:
- Mikey Koskela - a part 2 Architectural technician, designer, maker & environmentalist. They are focused on circular economies, biomaterials & the possibilities design thinking can bring to facilitate a different future.
- Emma Hague - founder coordinator at South West England Fibreshed
- Katie Allen - Organic Regenerative Farmer and Founder of her Knitwear brand Loopy Ewes
