Recording and Working In An Accessible Music Industry - My Adventure.
Event Information
About this event
Following the recent recording of my debut solo album. I want to highlight the ways in which myself and my team have worked in a more accessible way, both in and out of the recording studio.
In this 1 hour webinar my brilliant partners and I will share expertise, our practical experiences and add different perspectives to the conversation.
Speakers will include: Director of Crown Lane Studios John Merriman, artist Patrick Samuel (‘Asperger Artist’), plus partners from Attitude Is Everything and the Musicians’ Union.
The webinar will showcase some of the accessible processes that can make a real difference in our sector - finding the right team, what really makes a recording studio accessible, working with the studio team and technicians to record AMT (Accessible Music Technology), creative decision making and ensuring accessibility for all.
The session will contribute to the broader industry conversation around the value of access audits in the music industry, including crucial advice on ensuring they’re not just a bit of paper but a live tool that can help smash barriers! There will be opportunities throughout to share your thoughts, along with a Q&A session at the end.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of an industry discussion that is exciting, growing and changing as we amplify a wealth of talent. The webinar will include live captioning and sign language interpretation.
