Description

Networking and poster event

The NSPCC and the ESRC are delighted to invite you to this networking and poster event.

In 2016 the NSPCC and ESRC jointly awarded funding to four universities to study what children and young people need to get back on track after abuse and neglect. Their research explores responding to trauma, identifying children most at risk of poor outcomes, the long-term impact of abuse on mental health outcomes, and what young people themselves think is important for recovery. In 2017 NSPCC also funded three voluntary sector organisations to help them generate evidence about their outcomes. They provide arts-based, therapeutic and counselling services to children experiencing a range of abuse and neglect.

This event showcases the projects we are funding. Join us to hear from the research teams about their progress and find out more about other research being funded by the NSPCC and ESRC. You will also have the chance to network with other colleagues, policy makers and funders.

Please book your place on Eventbrite by 12 March 2018.

We hope to see you there.
