Event description
An annual event for staff concentrating around themes of recovery and mental health.

About this Event

The popular LPFT Recovery Conference is back. This year's key speakers include:

Rachel Perkins, ImROC

Until her retirement from the NHS in 2010, Rachel spent 30 years working in mental health services initially as a clinical psychologist and finally as Director of Quality Assurance and User Experience in South West London and was responsible for the development of recovery-focused practice across the Trust. Rachel is now senior consultant with the ImROC programme.

Rufus May

Rufus May has worked as a clinical psychologist in adult mental health services for 19 years. He provides training and consultancy in recovery and integrative based approaches to psychosis and other mental health problems. His interest in psychological approaches to psychosis and recovery is rooted in his own experiences of psychosis and recovery in his late teens. He has written a number of articles and book chapters and his work was featured in the English Channel 4 documentary ‘The Doctor who hears voices’.

A full programme will be confirmed nearer the date.
