Event Information
About this Event
In recent months, the economic, social and health impacts of the pandemic, along with Brexit, have made the challenges of running a sustainable creative business particularly acute.
Re:Create 2021 is a new free, business support programme that will serve to meet the needs and challenges of Wandsworth-based creative micro-enterprises, including visual artists, makers and designers in these new and challenging times. The programme will support participants through a mix of 1:1 specialist business advice, and a series of informative skills development and networking events.
To celebrate the launch of Re:Create 2021, Creative United will be joined by:
- Councillor Richards Jones, Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Skills and Employment
- Sara O'Donnell - Head of Wandsworth Art
- Victor Castejon - Co-founder of The Quick Brown Fox Video Production Ltd
- James Gero - Executive Director of World Heart Beat Music Academy
Our guests will be discussing the impact of 2020 on the creative businesses in Wandsworth and what opportunities lie ahead.
There will also be time for our audience to ask questions in a live Q&A and to find out more about the Re:Create 2021 programme. This is an opportunity for Wandsworth creatives to share reflections, ideas and highlight the support you need in 2021.
