Some say it’s getting harder to recruit volunteers today. That’s not because people don’t want to volunteer, rather they don’t want to do what we are offering. In this workshop you’ll learn a five stage process for effective volunteer recruitment, starting with tips for creating effective and attractive volunteer roles. We’ll also explore why good customer service is an essential part of engaging new volunteers. You’ll leave the session with tips and actions that will help your recruitment efforts in future.
Who should attend:
The session is suitable for any trustee, staff member or volunteer in who is responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers or who is thinking of using volunteers to support their work.
