Event description

Description

Join artist Louise Anderson and experiment using wire, found and recycled materials, images and maps to create your own sculptured masterpiece.

Create your own ‘recycled wire art work’ taking inspiration from the current exhibition ‘Another Land’ (Kingston Museum, 5 April - 28 June 2019) and the work of modern and contemporary artists such as Alexander Calder, Barbara Hepworth, Joseph Cornell and Anna Boghiguian.

Use found materials, local images and maps to sculpt your own space. Learn how to frame and create from wire, string, fabric, and other recycled materials.
Artist Louise Anderson will support you step by step in the process of creating your very own piece of contemporary art.

All materials provided.

COST: £10/per participant (plus Eventbrite fees). Suitable for adults.
Booking on Eventbrite necessary.
Any questions or queries, please contact Kingston Museum at: kingston.museum@kingston.gov.uk or call 020 8547 6440.
