Event description

Description

Handprint Theatre make theatre for and with young people.

Using storytelling, physical theatre, British Sign Language and a combination of anything they can get their hands on, the company strive to make theatre accessible for the whole family.

We create theatre and education projects which are accessible to both Deaf and Hearing audiences not segregating but allowing all to see performances which communicate across language, disability or culture.

Yellow was happy, living in a yellow house, with a yellow garden in a yellow world until Red moved in next door, there will most definitely be trouble!

Join these neighbours as they discover that a successful community relies on finding their similarities and celebrating differences.

Sit back and watch, or join the show and then use your art skills to be part of a piece of community artwork to remind us all how we can all use our words to build a positive community.

This is a family event, suitable for children aged 5+, and deaf and hearing accessible.

This event is taking place as part of the Newham Word Festival. For listings of the full programme, please visit: http://www.discover.org.uk/newhamwordfestival17/
