ADANNA Women’s Support Group (AWSG)

ADANNA Women’s Support Group (AWSG) is a non-profit organisation based in East London. Our aim is to empower global majority women and girls by helping build their self-confidence. We do so by helping them overcome any issues they may be facing such as relationship issues, domestic violence, debt, unemployment, loneliness and isolation, challenges bringing up their children, etc.

Advance Minerva Charity

At Advance Minerva, we dedicate support to women who have been in contact with the Criminal Justice System. We do this by working closely with the National Probation Service, as well as other statutory services to get women all the help they need in one place. This includes emotional well-being, housing, domestic abuse, debts, benefits, education, training and employment.

Citizens Advice Redbridge

Citizens Advice Redbridge provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice. Our goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face. We’re an independent charity and part of the Citizens Advice network.

Community Action Redbridge

Community Action Redbridge is a local charity working to create positive change and make Redbridge a place where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. Come to our stall to find out about our Social Prescribing service, our free Fit for Fun programme and how to get involved in volunteering across the borough.

FiND – Redbridge Families Information Direct

FiND is a free, confidential service offering information, advice, and support to families in Redbridge. We help parents and carers access local services, childcare, activities, and resources to support their children’s development and wellbeing.

Healthy Redbridge Bus – Health Checks

The Healthy Redbridge Bus will be providing free blood pressure, BMI and blood glucose checks, as well as health information and advice.

Reach Out, Redbridge’s Domestic Abuse Service

Reach Out is a support service for any adult or child aged 16 or over in Redbridge who is experiencing domestic abuse.

London Borough of Redbridge Benefit Service

We offer advice on benefits, budgeting, and cost-of-living support. Our team helps with Housing Benefit, Council Tax, hardship payments, and disability benefit applications. We also signpost to services like Work Redbridge, Citizens Advice, and support with utilities, furniture, and clothing.

Redbridge Children’s Centres

The Children’s Centres support families with children under the age of 5 (8 with SEND). We deliver free sessions to support children’s development through play, get them ready to learn and support parents/carers with parenting tips, guidance and information.

Redbridge Community Engagement Coordinators (CECs)

CECs support people who may be isolated, causing concern or at risk of needing formal services. They work alongside clients, establishing what their vision for a good life is and then support them in achieving their goals; they help to find solutions to problems by drawing on family, friends and community resources.

Redbridge Family Help

The Family Help services, Family Resource Team and Pre & Post Birth Team in Redbridge offer targeted support on welfare, housing, and benefits, including for families with no recourse to public funds. They provide parenting programmes, group work for children, and pre/postnatal care through a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and social workers.

Redbridge Rent Specialist Support Team

The Rent Specialist Support Team provides enhanced support and assistance to vulnerable tenants with complex needs in both secure council and temporary accommodation, with the ultimate goal of maximising rent recovery and sustaining tenancies. We support our customers to ensure they are receiving their full benefits entitlement and provide income and expenditure advice.

Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex & London (RAMFEL)

RAMFEL supports refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in London. We support our clients with immigration advice and support while navigating the UK immigration system. We also have a foodbank at our community hub in Ilford with English classes and a social space.

SHP

SHP Redbridge Floating Support provides housing-related support to people in Redbridge who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We help individuals and families sustain tenancies, and move on successfully. Our service supports diverse groups including young people, refugees, those with mental health, substance, or physical or sensory impairments, and survivors of domestic abuse.

Transition Town Ilford – Energy Cafe

Transition Ilford Energy Café is a community-led drop-in service where residents get free, practical advice on saving energy, cutting bills, and accessing grants, social tariffs or support schemes. Volunteers can help with energy tariff price comparison, understanding bills, and improving home efficiency, while also promoting sustainability and reducing carbon emissions locally.
