We are holding a series of 'how to…..' workshops which are interactive, practical courses that provide line managers with the essential knowledge required to deal with day to day Employment and HR issues.
We will provide a comprehensive introduction to the law and best practice to enable line managers to deal with any issues and conduct procedures appropriately and to equip staff with the confidence needed to handle any HR matters.
Our courses are the only courses run in West Wales by specialist Employment Solicitors and Associate members of the CIPD. We have been described by the Legal 500 as the "strongest employment team in West Wales". We are also the only law firm in West Wales that is authorised to provide external CPD training through the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
We understand the commitment businesses make allowing their managers time off to attend training so all of our sessions are run at the start of the working day to minimise disruption to your business.
Benefits of attending
The workshops include case studies designed to test delegate knowledge and stimulate discussion. We also encourage question and answer sessions. Delegates will receive a comprehensive handout containing workshop slides, step by step guidance, flowcharts and checklists.
The 'Modern Slavery and Ethical Audits' Workshop will run from 9am to 11am on Wednesday 8th February 2017 and will cover:
• Why it doesn't just affect big business;
• Modern slavery statements - which needs to be included and how to write them;
• The things you should be doing now.
The cost of each seminar is £35 plus VAT per person. For delegates from organisations who are currently members of the Redkite Employment and HR Package the cost is reduced to £30* plus VAT per person.
*Please note that the reduced cost of attendance for Redkite Employment and HR Package members is limited to two delegates per organisation.
Refreshments are included.
Note: Attendance at these workshops is limited to two delegates per organisation.
If you would like to attend but you are unable to make the date and wish to receive a copy of the notes instead, the cost for the notes is £20 plus VAT and they will be available for distribution seven days after the workshop.
