Redress Exhibition Opening
Event Information
Description
On the 17th of January, Fashion for Good will launch an exhibit of the most recent collections of the Redress Design Award – the world’s largest sustainable fashion design competition.
The Redress Design Award expanded globally for the first time this year with applications from over 55 different countries. Organised by NGO Redress, the competition promotes sustainable design theories and techniques to help close the loop in fashion.
First place was awarded to Tess Whitford, and runner up Jesse Lee. Both entries will be part of the exhibition and NL-based finalist Hung Wei Yu will join the opening.
Fashion for Good invites you to see these thought-provoking and remarkable pieces – all created with zero-waste, up-cycling and reconstruction techniques, and designed by passionate, talented game-changers to transform the global fashion industry.
The collections will be displayed on mannequins designed for a circular economy from Mannequino.
The exhibit will run from the 17th January until the 14th February at Fashion for Good and is free of entry.
