About this event

The Climate Change Committee publishes its annual assessment of policy progress and delivery towards Net Zero at the end of June. Join us on Wednesday 12th July for an online session with members of the Committee, where we answer your questions about the report, our analysis and recommendations for the UK’s progress towards Net Zero.

Last year’s Progress Report highlighted greater emphasis and focus must be placed on delivery of Net Zero to match ambition. The past year has seen the publication of an updated Net Zero strategy in response to last year’s high court ruling. Now, our latest report will provide a comprehensive assessment of whether the Government has introduced policies with clear direction, credible delivery mechanisms and suitable incentives to reduce emissions in line with the Net Zero target.

This event is an opportunity to have your questions about the Progress Report answered by members of the Climate Change Committee.

CCC panellists include:

  • Professor Corinne Le Quéré
  • Professor Keith Bell
  • Professor Piers Forster
