The Chancellors Building is a University of Edinburgh building within the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh campus. You are best reaching the venue via public transport - Lothian Buses offer regular buses to the RIE from across Edinburgh.

Are there lunch options?

Yes - we are fortunate to have many available choices on campus. Chancellors - Cafe. RIE - M&S, The Place To Eat, Deli Bar. Sick Kids - 4th floor canteen, ground floor grab and go, and a small shop with fresh sandwiches.

This event aims to address the pressing issue of racial disparities in maternal and neonatal healthcare. Join us at the Chancellor's Building, The University of Edinburgh to engage in important discussions, share insights, and work towards solutions.

We welcome our speakers - Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead Midwife Keelie Grindley and Consulant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Isioma Okolo as we explore ways to improve our practice, our outlook on healthcare and discover challenges faced by families from BAME backgrounds reaching equitable care.
