About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

This exciting lino printing workshoop will give you the time to plan and print a reductiion lino print, using 3 colours (plus white, which will be the first cutting away you create) It will take place over 3 days to give time for everything to dry, so please make sure you keep all three sessions free.

They will be on 2, 9 and 10 November at 10am for a 2.5 -3 hour session.

I'm giving us a bit of extra time each session as we need to get to a certain point in the procedure at the end of each one!

We need 4 people to book to make the sessions viable so please do tell your friends about it!

We plan that you should get at least 3 good prints but hopefully you'll produce more that are successful!

You will need to have a bit of thinking time beforehand to find some images that might make a good design. Please do contact me to discuss or bring images along on the day for us to have a discussion. You will sped some time planning the various layers on the first session , then cut and print the first layer.

Please bring an apron and wet wipes as we use printing ink which can stain and we need to keep the area clean around us to have the best chance of creating good prints!

Cake and hot drinks provided as usual!

I'm so looking forward to running this workshop!

"feedback was excellent"

"thank you for a wonderful session"

"Catherine was lovely, very helpful and encouraging"

"I am so proud of myself"

"Thoroughly enjoyed picking up a paint brush again, Catherine was very supportive"
