Event description
Turn your practice-based research into complete outputs, suitable for submission to REF. Attendance essential.

About this Event

At this day-long workshop, you will receive the official Cass REF portfolio template for practice-based researchers. You will learn how to organise and categorise your work, according to the REF output submission framework. You will complete the template for each of your outputs (or groups of output items), ready for the final round of assessment before University decisions are made about which staff members to include in the Cass REF return.

Please sign up to confirm your attendance. We ask you not to forward this invitation to colleagues as the workshop is not geared towards all staff; if you have not received an invitation but think you should, please contact Dr Matthew Barac, Cass Research Leader.

Attendance at this workshop is essential for any practice-based researcher who wishes to be considered for REF submission. It has been arranged during MaL week to ensure most FTE staff are available, but if you aren't able to make it due to teaching commitments please talk to your Line Manager and organise cover, as this is an academic priority.

Being submitted for the REF is an important milestone in any academic career, and for a practice-based researcher will represent a significant addition to your professional profile or CV.

The workshop will be held at The Cass, Calcutta House. You will receive further information after you have signed up.
