Stuck between the pressure of work and the demands of life?

You navigate two worlds: the structured, demanding "First Space" of your job, and the personal, often draining "Second Space" of home. But where is the space for you?

I've worked with hundreds of men who unfortuantely became aware of this concept far too late, everybody needs a third space to get a different perspective!

A "Third Space" is a crucial, yet often missing, environment—a neutral ground for reflection, connection, and renewal. It’s the mental and physical gap where you can step out of your roles as employee, boss, or dad, and simply be yourself to think clearly.

We'll be taking a relaxed walk and talk through a beautiful part of Charnwood, nothing too physically taxing here guys! The emphasis is on clarity, connection, and getting supportive ideas on your current challenges!

This isn't a walk to vent. It's a guided transition into a Third Space, designed to help you untangle complex challenges and return to both work and home with renewed focus and clarity.

This Is For You If:

  • You feel the weight of constant context-switching between work and home.
  • You're facing a career dilemma or project roadblock and need a fresh perspective.
  • You believe that your environment directly impacts your ability to think.
  • You're seeking a practical, actionable alternative to traditional networking or happy hours.

Is there Parking?

Yes, it is donation based, let's support this beautiful place.

How far are we walking and what's it like?

The route is 2 miles over undulating ground of tracks, woodland and fields.

What do I need to wear/bring?

Suitable footwear i.e. walking boots or shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, bring a drink and snacks if you wish.

What exactly is a "Third Space"?
Coined by sociologist Ray Oldenburg, a Third Space is a neutral, inclusive social environment separate from the two main spheres of home ("First Space") and work ("Second Space"). Think of a classic pub, cafe, or town square. We're creating a mobile, intentional version of this.

Is this a networking event?
The primary goal is personal clarity and problem-solving. However, building authentic connections with like-minded men is a natural and powerful outcome of sharing this kind of space. It's networking through shared purpose, not transaction.

What kind of "challenge" should I bring?
Anything that feels stuck or unclear. A decision you're avoiding, a team dynamic you need to navigate, a creative project that's hit a wall, or even a general feeling of being burned out and needing to re-prioritize.

How is this different from just going for a walk by myself?
The power comes from the container we create together—the intentional start/stop, the guided framework, and the focused conversation with peers. It provides structure and external perspective that a solo walk often lacks.

Will I have to share deeply personal details?
No. The focus is on your thinking process and the challenge at hand. You control the narrative. The frameworks we use are designed to explore problems structurally, not just emotionally.

I look forward to seeing you there!
