WHY?

We often don’t take a moment to acknowledge how much we come through in a year.

That ‘LOT’ includes all the feelings processed, the relational interactions, the moments watching tiny birds flit from here to there, laughing at dogs in the park. It includes dinners made for friends, awkward words you wished you hadn’t spoken, the grief of love apparently lost, and the hope for change.

Maybe you learnt something new—how to crochet, how to spatchcock a chicken, or how to grow vegetables for the first time?

Our yearly ‘LOT’ is rich with life lived.

Yet it’s easy to forget the details—the subtle moments and quiet lessons—as we rush headlong into a new year, full of promises and clean slates. These stories and experiences may slip away before we’ve had a chance to glean their meaning.

Or perhaps the significant events of your year have blurred or overwhelmed you, leaving the finer, stiller moments forgotten?

Often, unless there’s a tangible outcome, it can feel like we haven’t ‘done’ much. This stems from a cultural bias toward productivity, goals, and visible achievements.

You may not have published a book, got married, had a child, started a business, or adopted a puppy.

But if you take the time to REFLECT & CONNECT with the moments of 2025, you’ll discover your year was rich in detail—splendid, mundane, painful, and magical.

Once we begin REFLECT–CONNECT, more memories start to flow.

What would it be like to honour your journey in 2025?

To accept and make peace with the choices you did and didn’t make?

To realise that the ‘tiny’ moments were just as impactful as the sweepingly huge ones?

WHAT TO EXPECT…

REFLECT–CONNECT is an online end-of-year reflective writing workshop and ritual.

We’ll meet on Zoom, beginning with a warm welcome and a presencing exercise to gently arrive.

You’ll explore your ‘book of 2025’ through reflective, journal-style writing. If you wish, you can also use drawing, illustration, or collage to create a more visual and colourful story alongside your words.

We’ll journey through 15+ life themes using unique prompts that range from light and joyful to deeply thoughtful and self-inquiring. These prompts will draw your attention to details, to magic, and to stories in places you may never have thought to look—focusing on both the macro and the micro.

You’ll be guided through a special creative writing exercise inspired by your year.

There will be time to connect and share at the end (sharing is always optional).

The workshop lasts 2.5 hours.

We begin at 2:30pm and end at 5:00pm UK time on Sunday afternoon, 28th of December.

COST: £25 + booking fee

REFLECT–CONNECT is open to anyone aged 18+ anywhere in the world who would like a held, guided space to pause, reflect, and gather their stories from 2025.
