Overview

A New Years Embodiment & Visioning Journey through Movement, Dance & Creative Art.

Step into the new year with a day of soulful movement, music and creative expression. You don’t need any artistic or dance experience; just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore. We’ll open with cacao and sharing circles to drop beneath the surface, honour the truth of your year and name what’s ready to be shed and celebrated.

From there, we move into embodied dance practice and expressive art-making to meet the rawness of 2025 and the visions stirring for 2026. This is a guided yet wide-open space; an invitation to explore your edges, express what’s been unspoken and create from the deeper layers of your body. Nothing needs to be perfect, nothing needs to be pretty - this is a journey of curiosity, playfulness and expansive opening to a fresh start.

Every invitation is optional, and the space will hold you through whatever rises: release, insight, shake-ups and breakthroughs, as you move, create and call in the energy of the year ahead.

This Session is Facilitated by Georgie & Anna-Lisa.

About Georgie:

Georgie is a somatic therapist with a rare capacity to feel the emotional undercurrents that reveal the body’s deeper truth. Grounded in creativity, emotion and embodied wisdom, she holds highly sensitive, divergent souls through the magical, messy journey from suppressed to fully expressed.

Georgie’s path began in the world of Art and Design, shaped by a lifelong sensitivity and an imagination that coloured everything she touched. With a Textiles degree and more than a decade teaching Art and Design, she nurtured creativity and self-expression in young people whose lives she profoundly influenced. For almost ten years she has carried this artistic lineage into somatic and trauma work, working with groups and 1:1, blending her clinical training in Clinical Hypnotherapy, IEMT, EMDR, EFT, NLP, Core Transformation and Embodiment Coaching with a heart and soul led, intuitive, nonlinear process that honours felt sensation and the body’s own innate wisdom.

She is the creator of Fierce Wisdom Dance, a guided embodiment practice rooted in intuitive movement, emotional release and the wild intelligence of the body. Immersed in ecstatic dance culture since 2018, and once a sequin clad festival fiend fuelled by basslines and disco balls, Georgie brings an unapologetically human, creatively charged and deeply sensitive informed approach to healing and expression.
In everything she does, Georgie is devoted to soul deep humans who feel life intensely, burn bright and refuse to fit the mould, guiding them to reclaim the parts of themselves they were taught to dim.

About Anna-Lisa:

Raised between the wilds of West Africa and the mystical lands of Avalon, Anna-Lisa’s childhood was steeped in magic, movement, art and deep connection to nature. This foundation has evolved into a lifelong passion for creating transformative spaces for expression, empowerment, and play.

With a rich tapestry of training in energetic, physical, therapeutic, and creative disciplines, Anna-Lisa curates dance experiences that invite participants to journey inward while also embracing unfiltered joy. Her approach to Ecstatic Dance is rooted in authenticity, creativity, and freedom, blending sensuality and flow with deep, primal bass and drops that make you go aughhhh! Each set a unique and carefully woven journey of expansion, wild abandon, and soulful stillness.

A pioneering force in the conscious dance scene, she is the founder of Ecstatic Dance Brighton and co-founder of Avalon Dance Odyssey. Her work graces Ecstatic Dance UK, Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, and Samsara Retreat, as well as festivals including Wilderness, Boomtown, Good Vibrations, Buddhafields, Medicine Woman, and Heart of the Rose. She has also run family and children focused sessions for mASCot, a charity supporting families with autistic children.

Since 2020, she has been a driving force in well-being sober and drug free community dance, following seven years as a Taoist Movement & Well-being Practitioner (Dahn Master with Body & Brain) and five years as an Art Therapist and mentor (MA Art Psychotherapy from Roehampton University) —all while raising her beautiful daughter.

Anna-Lisa’s mission is simple yet profound: to hold space for transformation, connection, and uninhibited expression through the power of dance and creativity.
