About this event

Just as the trees shed their leaves in autumn, this time of year invites us to release the parts of our lives that no longer serve us. This September, Yoke and The Breathwork Breddah are coming together to offer a powerful experience designed to help you do just that, creating space for what’s next.Join us for a two-hour journey of reflection and release, expertly guided by Danny, The Breathwork Breddah.A corporate trader by day, Danny brings a grounded, no-nonsense approach to inner work. With a master's in Chemical Engineering, a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and the men's wellness community BANF Collective under his belt, his next challenge is a master's in Neuroscience and Psychology of the Mind-Body Interface. He'll be embarking on this journey in October, deepening his commitment to the science behind the practice and fueling his mission to share the life-changing power of breathwork. What to ExpectIntro & Meditate: Leave the outside world behind and find a moment of peace. The session begins with a gentle body scan to help you ground down and get into a mindfulness mentality.Breathing Tools for Life: Learn a simple down-regulating breathwork technique that you can integrate into your everyday life to better manage stress and anxiety.Journaling: A gentle journaling exercise provides an opportunity to bring emotions to the surface before we delve deeper with the breath.Conscious Connected Breathwork: We will begin with a brief explanation and demonstration of CCB to ensure you feel confident and ready. This will be followed by a powerful 40-minute guided session of deep rhythmic breathing, set to an immersive, up-tempo playlist. This is where you'll move emotional energy and find a sense of release.Deep Relaxation: After the deep work, it’s time to find a profound sense of rest. You’ll lie back and bring your breathing back to normal in a final relaxation, with chilled music and eye masks available to help you find your most powerful moments of peace.Integration & Sharing: The session ends with a crucial moment to reflect, process, and share with the community, should you feel comfortable. We’ll have nourishing snacks and drinks available from Yoke's Nourish bar for you to refuel before heading back into the world. Please note tickets are non-refundable.

Frequently asked questions

Can I practice breathwork?

Almost everyone can practice. You don't need special clothes or equipment. Just the curiosity to explore and a willingness to step every so slightly out of your comfort zone. We do have a health and safety form everyone must complete before attending, which will emailed out on booking.

What do I need to bring?

• Loose fitting comfortable clothes • Water bottle • Paper and pen • A great attitude

Can I eat beforehand?

This type of breathwork (Conscious Connected Breathwork) needs to be done on an empty stomach, so don’t eat anything for 2 hours beforehand. Black coffee/tea is bless as is water. Try not to be hungover as you’ll just sit there spinning out
