Join MITBER this autumn at Museum of Cornish Life, Helston to explore the 5 Ways of Wellbeing through creativity and a focus on some of the objects held in the museum’s collection. This is a project that mixes visual arts and creative writing.
Over the eight weeks you will focus on each of the Ways to Wellbeing using various creative forms such as writing, drawing, photography and print. The project will culminate in the making of a poster for each of the 5 Ways showing some of the creative work generated by the course and inviting the viewer to think about their visit to the museum and which of the 5 Ways they have experienced that day. These will be displayed at the Museum during its Christmas Fair and beyond.
This course is designed to support people who would benefit from low-pressure activities where creativity is used as a tool for healing, self-expression and empowerment.
