Event description

Description

Can I change your life? Who am I to intervene? Do I know what it best for you?

If you are a practitioner who considers ethics in participatory engagement this reflective practice day could be for you.

Getting involved in the mess of peoples’ lives is an act not to be taken lightly. Safe Ground’s expertise is rooted in the design and delivery of arts based programmes; we consider our work to be inherently political.

On the 13th April, we are inviting practitioners with experience in designing participatory programmes to deconstruct these processes and collectively consider the political ramifications of, interventions.

This will be a day of collective critical thinking around social justice praxis, interrogating the who, what, why and how of participatory programmes.

Lunch will not be provided but there are plenty of options near by. Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day.

For more information on the day you can contact us at info@safeground.org.uk
