A reflective space for aspiring psychologists to think about themselves, develop practical clinical skills, along with some academic understanding, and receive emotional support on the path to becoming a clinical or counselling psychologist.
This will be a closed group running for a 10 week block. The fee is £220 (£22 per session). Group members are asked to commit to attending the block of sessions to encourage a safe space and continuity in group dynamics; as such there are no refunds on missed sessions.
Each session is ninety minutes. Following a welcome and time for arriving, there will be a brief presentation which focuses on a particular theme and a group discussion ofthe material.

- What is Reflective Practice
- Reflecting on What is Clinical Psychology
- Reflecting on Formulation
- Reflecting on CBT
- Reflecting on Systemic Psychology
- Reflecting on Psychoanalysis
- Reflecting on Supervision
- Reflecting on MDT working
- Reflecting on Audit and Governance
- Reflecting on Critical Thinking
Dates are: 16/09; 23/09; 07/10; 14/10; 21/11; 04/11; 11/11; 18/11; 25/11; 02/12.
No group for these weeks: 30/90; 28/10.

The group task is to support development of reflective skills and also provide emotional support on the journey to get onto Doctoral training.
