Description

Reflective Practice

Why should I go?

Throughout your time at university, you will be asked to think and write reflectively. Sometimes what we’ve learned from an activity or piece of work isn’t always obvious, which is why we reflect on our experiences. Being able to recall what happened, and turn your insights into an action plan isn’t always easy and this workshop will take you step by step through that process.

What will I learn?

This workshop explains what it is to be a reflective practitioner, and why it’s important in our academic studies to harness this skill. You will learn methods and techniques that will enable you to apply this both to your academic studies and beyond. You will explore some of the theory behind reflective practice, and find out how you can turn this into a practical action plan.

This workshop is open to all current registered University of Sheffield students. Please bring your UCard with you to the workshop.
