Reflective & Reflexive Practice Session with Suresh Nanwani (Francophone)
Overview
Reflective and Reflexive (R&R) practice is a key element of EMCC Global accreditation – this series is a key resource for practitioners looking to accredit their practice as well as those working towards future levels or maintaining their current practice level.
This is an immersive session with the expectation that participants will be able to engage fully in both plenary and in any breakout groups, with camera and microphone on. There is an expectation you will fully engage in the session, not least because you will paired with another for practice and they will also be relying on your input.

EMCC Global exists to develop, promote, and set the expectation of best practice in mentoring, coaching, and supervision globally for the benefit of society. Our vision is to be the ‘go to’ body in mentoring, coaching, and supervision.
Become accredited - the status and designation you earn that sets you apart as a true professional in mentoring, coaching, supervision and programme management
Becoming accredited really does set you apart from the rest. In a world where anyone can set up as a mentor or coach, clients are increasingly looking for that level of professionalism that reassures them they are choosing someone who has invested in their own knowledge and who keeps up to date. In short, they want to choose someone who knows what they are talking about and who has the experience and expertise they need to help them thrive.
If your own clients are not already accredited for their ongoing practice, then they could be missing out.
The EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) is an internationally recognised accreditation that demonstrates that an individual practising as a professional mentor and/or coach has the appropriate level of knowledge and the ability to apply it effectively in their practice, and that they continue to adhere to the GLOBAL CODE OF ETHICS, and commit to their own continued professional development, reflective practice and supervision.
Please note that the recognition of prior accredited learning within the EIA process does enable an individual with previous accredited learning i.e. an approved qualification in mentoring and/or coaching (other than EMCC) to align their qualification/s to the EMCC Global Quality Award (EQA) assessment framework and thereby be exempt from producing additional evidence of their competence when applying for their EIA accreditation.
The EMCC Global Quality Award (EQA) is an internationally recognised accreditation for providers of mentoring/coaching training to make their qualifications/training widely and immediately recognisable. This is done through linking them to professional standards. It is an integral and essential step on the path to establishing the professional credibility and status of mentoring/coaching.
EMCC has a dynamic framework for assessment based on extensive consultation and the most comprehensive competence research produced to date to inform mentoring/coaching and supervision professional standards and practice. The emphasis of the EMCC Global Accreditation process is to raise standards while acknowledging and celebrating existing excellence, prior learning and experience.
The EMCC Global Supervision Individual Award (ESIA) is an internationally recognised accreditation that demonstrates that an individual practising as a professional mentor/coach supervisor has the appropriate level of knowledge and the ability to apply it effectively in his/her practice.
The EMCC Global Supervision Quality Award (ESQA) is an internationally recognised accreditation for mentoring/coaching supervision training programmes. Programmes attaining the ESQA are recognised by the EMCC as having met stringent professional standards.
NOTE: The unique opportunity to embed the EMCC Global Individual Mentor/Coach Accreditation (EIA) and Supervision (ESIA) into the delivery of all Quality Award Programmes (EQA and ESQA) is now available for all EMCC Global Accredited Training Providers and their delegates.
The International Standards for Mentoring and Coaching Programmes (ISMCP) is an EMCC Global accreditation awarded to organisations designing, delivering, and evaluating mentoring and/or coaching programmes either ‘in-house’ or externally. It is an integral and essential step on the path to establishing the professional credibility and status of good mentoring and/or coaching programme management.
