Event description

Description

Various assessments for your course may require you to write reflectively. Reflection requires you to adopt a less traditionally 'academic' style, and instead to think and write more deeply and personally, by bringing together issues in your real life, work or placement with theory that helps explain them.

This workshop will

  • explore the differences between reflective writing and other academic writing
  • provide models for how to reflect effectively
  • allow you to develop your reflective writing style

The session is relevant to all levels, but may be particularly helpful for the all Year 2/3 placement/professional practice/life units, or the Year 3 Early Childhood unit 'Promoting Early Learning'
