Refocus: As Health Shifts – Supporting Emotional and Physical Wellbeing

Chronic illness, prolonged stress, and burnout can deeply affect both our emotional and physical health. From fatigue and brain fog to increased inflammation, weakened immunity, and long-term conditions, the impact is real—but there are ways to nurture resilience and balance.

Join Health & Wellbeing Coach Vicki Waqa for a compassionate and practical session exploring how stress and burnout affect the body, and how we can support emotional and physical wellbeing.

Discover how chronic stress impacts your health and learn effective strategies for managing it, including gentle conversations around movement, nourishing food, and compassionate self-care.

About Vicki Waqa

Vicki’s journey to becoming a coach is deeply rooted in her professional background as a registered nurse. With nearly three decades in senior leadership roles across Accident & Emergency, Primary Care, education and academia, she has witnessed first-hand the devastating impact of stress, exhaustion and burnout—on patients, colleagues, and her own wellbeing.

Coming to terms with her own humanity was a profound journey that sparked a transformative path of self-discovery and healing. Today, her person-centred coaching blends the wisdom of traditional nursing with modern coaching methods and innovative NLP techniques.

Whether you’re struggling to set healthy boundaries, feeling overwhelmed, or seeking greater balance and fulfilment, Vicki offers a safe and compassionate space to explore what truly matters to you. She also lives with a long-term condition herself, bringing a rare depth of empathy and authenticity to her practice.
