Lighthouse and Creative England present Reframed, a new programme of talks and workshops exploring immersive and interactive storytelling.
The worlds of film, gaming, theatre, design, art and technology are becoming increasingly converged, with interactive and immersive environments such as 360°, virtual reality, augmented reality and games bringing us closer to a seamless blending of physical and virtual worlds.

Reframed brings together leaders and innovators to explore emerging practices within the realm of immersive and interactive storytelling.
Aimed at those wanting to learn more about designing and producing interactive and/or immersive work, Reframed will shine a light on the intrinsic and underlying principles of non-linear and interactive narratives, and the platforms and technologies which best serve them across different types of projects.

Workshop: Creating Immersive Worlds – Unity Technologies
An opportunity to learn about the process of creating immersive and interactive environments using Unity, a game engine being increasingly adopted by filmmakers, artists and other creative practitioners working outside video games.

If you have your own laptop you can bring please install the latest Unity software as there will be a chance to try it out for yourself.
