The next event is Thursday 16th July. It will be held at Mink Bar in Middlesbrough and you are invited to join us from 6:30pm.
We had some excellent talks last month from Ollie Bennet (@OllyOllyBennett), Glen McNamee (@GlenMcNamee), and Marcus Summerfield (@dj_marcus81) and we encourage you to check out their work or reach out to them on Twitter, but the Eventbrite registration for July’s event is now live and it promises to be a good one.|
Paul Kitchner of Peak Image will be blurring the lines between key note talk and live demonstration as he discusses the importance of creative and photography light as a design element.
Dan Beattie of RoundtableHQ discusses why Kanban creates focus amid the chaos of working across multiple offices, borders, and oceans, as well as why email just isn’t up to the job.
Peter Hinton has been creating beautiful design work for 100+ clients over the last decade and will be taking the mic to share just some of the insight and experience accumulated over that time.
Thanks to your feedback we will now be opening the upstairs at 6:30pm to give our speakers time to soundcheck, but you’re welcome to join us for a drink downstairs beforehand too. See you then!
When & Where
Refresh Teesside follows the manifesto of other Refreshing Cities around the world. However, we have decided to open the events up to more than just designers and developers. We welcome all those who work in the creative industry including: photographers, marketing, printers, designers, developers etc. We made this decision in recognition of the importance of digital communities working closely together and increasing their understanding of other’s work, thus reaping the mutual benefits of collaboration.
